What made you want to start your own business? How did you come up with the idea?
After the dental program, I started working at Folktandvården and felt quite quickly that it did not fit the image of what I thought the dental profession could be. I wanted to develop, offer good care to my patients and be in a workplace that motivated me. But that's not what I got at all.
We felt so strongly about creating something new. We started thinking about branding and whether we should do it ourselves instead. We had our business idea that we believed in, but it was hard to convince the banks even though dentistry is a lucrative industry.
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to start a business? What is the advantage of Froda?
You are never perfect and you must strive to constantly improve and learn more.Because you will need to change both yourself and your business along the way. The key factor, I would say, is that you need to be in a position where all the numbers and calculations are clear. Then it's just a matter of daring.
